Instructions : Disposable Dry Ice Packs

Instructions: Cryolux Dehydrated Disposable Dry Icepacks

Cryolux Dehydrated Disposable Icepacks are made by thermally bonding layers of plastic and perforated textile fabric with Cryolux Polymer sandwiched between. These disposable icepacks are specifically designed for commercial applications, offering cost and convenience advantages over labor-intensive reusable icepack decontamination. As they are dehydrated, they are easy and economical to store and transport.

Activation/Hydration

Immerse: Fully submerge the dehydrated icepacks in water, preferably warm if you find the ice packs are taking long to activate.

Hydrate: The Cryolux Icepacks will fully hydrate, with each cell expanding to approximately 1 inch thickness. In the rare occasion that any cells that they have not expanded its recommended to give them a Gentle squeeze.

Removing Excess Water : Take the icepacks out of the water Gently pat dry them with a towel or give them a good shake to remove excess water.

When fully hydrated, a full 24-cell sheet weighs between 900 and 1000 grams.

Freezing: For optimal freezing, set your freezer to the lowest temperature i.e.. -21° degrees Celsius

Freeze: Freeze the icepacks for at least 24 hours before use.

Stacking: When freezing multiple icepacks, stack them with the plastic side facing down so the plastic of one icepack is in contact with the textile fabric of the one below. This prevents them from sticking together.

Important Note:

Avoid force: If you find icepacks frozen together due to excess water, do not attempt to separate them forcefully. This may damage the nonwoven or plastic membrane making them unusable.

Instead, allow the icepacks to thaw, pat them dry, and freeze them again.

By following these instructions, you can ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Cryolux Dehydrated Disposable Icepacks.
